Job Title: Middle School Teacher

Summary:
Ebenezer Christian School is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Middle School Teacher. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and committed to providing our students with a rigorous and nurturing educational experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching all subject areas in the middle school, including English, math, science, and social studies, in a 6th-8th grade blended classroom.
Responsibilities:
- Create engaging and effective lesson plans that align with the school’s curriculum and standards
- Deliver instruction in a clear and concise manner that promotes student understanding
- Assess and grade student learning, including the development and administration of tests and quizzes
- Provide feedback to students on their progress and help them develop strategies for improvement
- Maintain effective classroom management and create a positive learning environment
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a loving Christian environment where each student can reach his or her full potential
- Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field
- Has a Valid MI Teacher’s license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to Christian education
